Are viruses and bacteria demons?




   Consider that the purpose of the single celled organisms is to process atoms, using ions, electrons, and protons, to make organic molecules which all higher lifeforms require.



   Now consider that this obviously had to be done first to prepare the environment for advanced life. There had to many stages before our world could support us, creative, imaginative, inventing animals.


   Some of the tasks which we think belong to demons are for example; to make people sick (usually a specific affliction or set of afflictions), or to cause specific changes in behavior, or just to kill. 


   Now realize that there are many illnesses which can cause all of these things, and most importantly of all, the causes of those illness are these same tiny organisms which process elements into organic substances.



   Are you starting to agree with me that maybe these single celled organisms are some the 'Demons' that legends speak of? This is especially scary when you read about how single-celled organisms replicate and group together in large masses, and even change into various forms, just like a multi-celled organism. It seems that if they were in the right environment, they could become more advanced organisms, like us.
